Performance
The Rhino Rig is a hydraulically powered cable-tool drilling machine designed for water well drilling. A tall mast raises the drill line and tools into position, while a hydraulic system powers a walking beam that repeatedly lifts and drops a heavy drill stem and bit. This up-and-down pounding action breaks through soil and rock to deepen the borehole. As drilling progresses, loosened material is removed with a bailer so the well can continue to be drilled to greater depths.
